Leon County Humane Society: 10th Annual Fur Ball
A couple of weeks ago, while tooling around midtown Tallahassee, I ran into my old boss and dear friend, Meg Shannon. By day Meg works for Salter > Mitchell, a local advertising and public relations firm, but by night she dedicates her time and talents to volunteering for the Leon County Humane Society (LCHS).
For the last 10 years, the LCHS has hosted a fabulous soiree called the Fur Ball. This delightful evening of dinner and dancing, alongside "the best silent auction in town," is the LCHS's biggest fundraiser of the year.
In preparation for the event, Meg asked if I would get involved in their "Happy Tails" effort, a campaign to share good news stories and showcase how donations make a difference in the lives of the animals.
Happy to help, I created a series of posters to highlight several of the LCHS's recent success stories. These posters serve as a reminder of all the good work being done by the LCHS, much of which is made possible by the generous donations of our animal-lovin' community.
