RISE & Shine

A few weeks ago I presented my work with the RISE Model at the 20th Annual New Media Consortium (NMC) Conference as part of their Five Minutes of Fame series. This series is one best of the annual conference. Presenters have just five minutes to introduce an idea or topic. If you run over the allotted time you get gonged from the stage. If you beat the clock, they gift you with a gong of your own. Fortunately for me I was able to deliver my spiel in under five minutes and now I keep my prized gong on my desk at the office!
